The pending OT transition plan is NOT the BPAPRA; however, the intent of OBP is to mirror the BPAPRA to avoid confusion upon implementation of the BPAPRA.
The information that Local 3307 has distributed at membership meetings and shift musters, as well as via conference calls with our members and Union Representatives, is the most accurate information that we have and is reflective of the discussions that have been ongoing with OBP.
The NBPC, based on previous and ongoing discussions with OBP, will continue to prepare for an AWS that includes 3 tiers consisting of 10-hour shifts across the board:
Level 1 (ten days per pay period of 10 hour shifts / 5 & 5)
Level 2 (nine days per pay period of 10 hour shifts / 5 & 4)
Basic (eight days per pay period of 10 hour shifts / 4 & 4)
The pay rate will be 45 Act OT for any hours spent working beyond your basic workday:
Level 1 (8 hour day of regular pay and 2 hours of 45 Act OT)
Level 2 (9 hour day of regular pay and 1 hour of 45 Act OT)
Basic (10 hour day of regular pay and no OT)
Unless, and until, BPA’s are lawfully declared FLSA exempt, we will continue to earn 45 Act OT under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
